Thurso (Scotland) & Bretignolles Sur Mer (France) - 10th April/1st May
Highlights from the O'Neill Highland Open, a 6 star WQS event heled in Thurso, the coldest spot on the tour. Then south to La Sauzaie in France, where surfers battle it out for the Reef Vendee Pro WQS 4 star event.
Newquay (England) - 6th/12th August
The Rip Curl Boardmasters, a 5 star event in Newquay welcomed more than 200 surfers including 10 from the ASP Fosters World Tour. Other entertainment included a skate half pipe and live music.
Lacanau (France) - 9th/19th August
The 28th edition of the Sooruz Lacanau Pro. Situated on the south west coast of France, Lacanau welcomed the best surfers from around the world to compete in one of the biggest events on the EPST 2007.
Disc 2 includes:
Hossegor (France) - 17th/26th August
The Rip Curl Pro is the only Super Series on the ASP European calendar. Surfers battle it out for first place and US$20,000 prize money.
Ericeira (Portugal) - 27th August/2nd September
The Buondi Billabong Pro event, a 6 star surfing event on the European calendar, took place at the top surfing spot of Ericeira, north east of Lisbon.
Lanzarote & Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) - 8th/21st October
La Santa Pro, the last 6 star WQS event on the European tour, is a crucial stop for WQS surfers wanting to qualify for the ASP Fosters World Tour. Then to the Caja De Canaria Ocean & Earth Pro, a 4 star WQS event held on one of the best breaks on the European tour, El Confital in Las Palmas.
Cascais (Portugal) - 2th/4th November
Cascais in Portugal played host to the Estoril Coast Pro, the last European stage of the WQS, a 3 star event, with US$50,000 prize money.
